Many biblical scholars believe Nimrod to be the first antichrist. In fact, we speak a lot about him in the podcast because of his hugely significant impact on the ancient world. Not only was he the first king to rule earth after the flood of Noah, but he was also famous for his rebellion against God. Under the influence of Satan, Nimrod elevated himself above God Almighty and was worshipped, as such, by numerous ancient civilizations. He became the pagan counterfeit of God Almighty.
